According to some local food guide from the Airport which Kai's gf has.. we've covered almost 75%-80% of them *LOL* and it comes with a price.. putting on weight and feeling gawdamn bloated every night.. (fyi, the intervals between the different foods is the time taken to drive from one place to another.. or in some instance - walk)
Anyways Kai & his gf went back to taiwan already.. hope they had a good time in sg.
=================================================
Sigh.. no mood to do anything.. :(
What are you doing on NYE?

City of Blinding Lights
The more you see the less you know
The less you find out as you grow
I knew much more then than I do now
Neon heart, day-glow eyes
The city lit by fireflies
They're advertising in the skies
And people like us
And I miss you when you're not around
I'm getting ready to leave the ground
Oh you look so beautiful tonight...
Don't think before you laugh
Look ugly in a photograph
Flash bulbs, purple irises the camera can't see
I've seen you walk unafraid
I've seen you in the clothes you've made
Can you see the beauty inside of me?
What happened to the beauty I had inside of me?
And I miss you when you're not around
I'm getting ready to leave the ground
Oh you look so beautiful tonight
In the city of blinding lights
Time... time... time.. won't leave me as I am
But time won't take the boy out of this man
Oh you look so beautiful tonight
Oh you look so beautiful tonight
Oh you look so beautiful tonight

Looking For The One Who Can Never Be Found
What is it that you want
This heavy heart of mine
Keeps on searching for The One
The one & only Missus
The one goal in life
The one reason to live
The one opportunity to rise
Thru the many years
It has stayed so still
Just like a sleeping volcano
Waiting to erupt
Unable to express myself
Unable to realise
Unable to convince myself
And this heavy heart of mine
Just what's so hard to express
What's there to realise
To convince or to contradict
The truth or the lie
No good without evil
No peace without war
No shadow without light
No absolute right or wrong
A trial, a test, or simply a twist of fate
All that's waiting
Is this long, lonely road to take
A random rant.. going through my warped mind.. don't know what I'm writing anyway.. but at least it rhymes.. somehow. Hmm this is soooo not good.

Why? I hate my current job, I took it up just to finance myself for an occasion. Now that its over, I really don't feel like doing this anymore.
Some reasons of mine:
- its boring
- everyday i do work without using my brains
- its damn boring
- there's no motivation
- its fucking boring
- i feel dejected
I've done abit of soul searching or watever u call it. And I realised that I don't ask for alot.. I just want a proper job.. something which will keep my brains working.. something which earns me some decent money and probably thats it. Been looking around for jobs ... but not much luck. Been talking to a few ppl about working sales jobs.. not much luck either.. mostly its because of self-discipline. They say that if you wanna work in sales.. you gotto have discipline.. so that you can drive/motivate yourself etc.
Seriously, if I have that.. I wouldn't be whining here would i? And all these mood swings certainly aint helping much either, its like back to the "good" ol' days.. when I need someone to talk to, I can't find anyone. Fuck it.. I'll managed somehow... I hope.
Now if you're reading this and u think u have an advice for me, please let me know.

Boring n tired like sh*t
Why do people want to crowd n clusterfck for lunch? I mean there's only one coffeeshop serving like more than 20 companies/entities nearby and everyone just rush to the coffeeshop at 12pm. I just cannot comprehend. Can't they open more coffeeshops..like at least one more? I'll probably go after 2, or maybe not eat at all.
On a lighter note, things are slowly falling in place.. for both work n personal. Got a wedding dinner just around the corner, have yet to confirm small details like music, tasks n responsibilities. But I guess that shouldn't be much of a problem... Haven't buy my clothes too.. don't know what to wear.
I'm seriously deprived of sleep. Is it becos I've slept too much for the past 5 mths? I'm getting like 5-6 hrs of sleep everyday and I wake up feeling soooooooooooo drained. It's 2 weeks into this new job.. and I think I'll start to CHUT pattern soon. hehehe :p
Had dinner at din's last friday.. adrienne's getting smarter.. I mean she can perform simple commands like "shake hand", "open n grab", and "hi5". Heh sounds like training a dog but well.. that's normal I guess. She's also more spoilt nowadays.. and temperamental. Wonder whose traits did she took on.. Daddy or Mommy?
Take 5 for now.. must do things discreetly, I wanna go back early todae.. hmm what excuses shall i give?

The Mighty Mouse

Meet the mouse that re-invented the wheel. The scroll wheel, that is. At S$88.00, Mighty Mouse features the revolutionary Scroll Ball that lets you move anywhere inside a document, without lifting a finger. And with touch-sensitive technology concealed under the seamless top shell, you get the programability of a four-button mouse in a single-button design. Click, roll, squeeze and scroll. This mouse just aced the maze.
Spry and Mighty
In the beginning, there was one button. Then there were two. Then there were clickable scroll wheels and programmable toggles and solid-state slides. But nobody made a mouse as easy to use as your Mac. Until now. Mighty Mouse combines the capability of a multibutton mouse with Apple's signature top-shell design for the best of both form and function. Use it any way you work: Stick with single-button simplicity or click with multibutton efficiency.

Get Around
Time is round. Space is curved. Why should your mouse be linear? Plenty of applications require you to do more than scroll up and down. Mighty Mouse offers 360-degree scrolling capability, thanks to its Scroll Ball, perfectly positioned to roll smoothly under just one finger. Explore the farthest reaches of your files pan images in iPhoto, view timelines in iMovie HD and Final Cut Pro, traverse bars in GarageBand and Logic Pro with one hand tied behind your back (or holding a cup of coffee or typing). Mighty Mouse gives you room to roam.
You'll Really Click
Touch-sensitive technology under Mighty Mouse's seamless top shell detect where you're clicking, transforming your sleek, one-button mouse into a two-button wonder. But the innovation doesn't end there. Apple engineers added force-sensing buttons on either side of Mighty Mouse that let you squeeze the mouse between your thumb and finger, activating Mac OS X Tiger Dashboard, Exposé or a whole host of other, customisable features instantly.
The Mouse That Roared

Unlike any other mouse on the market, Mighty Mouse was designed specifically to work with Mac OS X Tiger. Up-to-the minute information on Dashboard is only a click away. Viewing, hiding and selecting your windows via Exposé is just as simple. And because Mac OS X Tiger makes Mighty Mouse programmable, you choose where every click takes you.

A Tribute to Woman
By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth day of working overtime.
An angel appeared and said,"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"
And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart and she will do everything with only two hands."
The angel was astounded at the requirements, "Only two hands!? No way! And that's just on the standard model? That's too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish."
"But I won't," the Lord protested, "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick and can work 18 hour days."
The angel moved closer and touched the woman. "But you have made her so soft, Lord."
"She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."
"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.
The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate."
The angel then noticed something, and reaching out; touched the woman's cheek.
"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."
"That's not a leak," the Lord corrected, "that's a tear!"
"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.
The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her
disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride."
The angel was impressed."You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything! Woman is truly amazing."
And she is!
Women have strengths that amaze men. They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in. They stand up to injustice. They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend. They love unconditionally. They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies. They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends. Women have vital things to say and everything to give.
However, if there is one flaw in women, it is that they forget their worth.

Are You a Good Friend?
By and large, you're a giving and thoughtful pal. Occasionally, however, you put your interests first and your friends' interests second. That's appropriate some of the time — the question is: How often are you really there for your friends? Read on and see how you could be an even better friend, in bad times as well as good.
You scored 5 out of 7
Take the test here : http://www.lifetimetv.com/reallife/relation/quiz/rel_quiz_goodfriend.html
Seven friends nobody needs
All friends are not created equal. Most buddies add to your life, but there are probably a few you would be better off without. The common denominator for these friends-gone-bad is that they act as if it's all about them and never about you. We're all guilty of being a little self-absorbed at times, but friendship is supposed to be a two-way street. If one of your friends isn't holding up her end of the bargain, consider calling her on her bad behavior -- or slashing her from your buddy list. (One word of caution: Before you start friend-cleaning, ask yourself if you fit any of these descriptions. You don't want one of your pals reading this and deciding to dump you!)
1. The whiner. Nobody knows the troubles she's seen. Things most of us accept as part of daily life -- carpool snafus, demanding bosses, men with poor communication skills -- she treats as evidence that the world is against her. We all enjoy complaining occasionally, but with her it's a nonstop moan-fest. Susan, 30, a public relations executive, refers to one of her friends as "the Crisis Queen." "It's always a catastrophe. It's draining just to have to hear it," she says.
2. The leech. She treats her friends like servants who exist to feed her dog, cover her shift at work, pick up her dry cleaning or peel her another grape. "She'll start off asking what I'm up to, but she really just wants to find out if I'm free to help her out," says Ellen, 39, a stay-at-home mom, about the leech in her life. "She recently called to ask what my daughter was doing. I said nothing, thinking she was going to invite her over. Instead, she asked if her daughter could come to my house!"
3. The busy bee. She's the PTA president, a party organizer and a domestic goddess all rolled into one. She makes you feel as if you are but a mere blip on her overscheduled radar screen. She consistently shows up late or says she's too busy to take your calls. "Since my friend got a new job, all she talks about is her crazy schedule," says Leslie, 26, an environmental consultant. "She makes it seem as if she's doing me a big favor by making time for me!"
4. The yakker. Thank God for caller ID. Everybody has friends that like to talk (if any of my pals are reading this, please know I've got that muzzle on order), but this buddy never lets you get a word in edgewise. In fact, she missed her calling as a telemarketer or a carnival barker. "I could hand the phone to one of the kids for five minutes and she wouldn't notice," says Kristi, age 42, a personal coach, of her personal Chatty Cathy. "Next time she calls, I'm going to have the country song 'I Wanna Talk About Me' playing in the background and see if she gets the hint."
5. The adviser. We all count on our friends for advice, but nobody needs a steady stream of unsolicited intervention. Whether this pal is trying to prove how smart she is or start her own counseling practice, she's got the answer for everything -- whether you ask her or not. Jodie, 32, a part-time nurse and mother of two, says she quit sharing things with one of her friends because, "She can't just listen; she always has to tell me what to do. She reminds me of the mother-in-law from hell!"
6. The dumper. Whenever something better comes up, she drops you like yesterday's business. The worst kind of dumper is the one that treats her female friends like fill-ins or time-passers until a guy comes into the picture. Jennifer, 24, a law student, says of one boy-crazy friend: "You'd think she was still in high school. We'll make plans weeks in advance, but if her boyfriend calls and asks her to hang out, she rushes over."
7. The bragger. She's been there and done that -- way better than you have. She just can't resist telling you how many carats her diamonds are or how much better her office is. She lets you know that your discount designer duds are so last season, while her outfits came straight from the Paris runway. "My conversations with this one friend consists of how important she is at work, what she's done to her house and how perfect her marriage is," says Julie, 31, a human resources administrator. "Doesn't she know it's supposed to be a friendship, not a competition?"
